Microblading imitates fine hairs for especially natural eyebrows. For very oily skin I often recommend Powder or Combo Brows for better longevity. Allow approx. 1.5–2.5 hours for the consultation, mapping and manual hair strokes with sterile single-use blades.

A common question from my clients is: "How long does Microblading last?"

Microblading usually lasts between 9 and 18 months, depending on your skin type, metabolism and proper aftercare. On dry skin it often lasts longer, on oily skin somewhat shorter. With a refresh (after about a year) your look stays fresh and clearly defined. A well-timed touch-up refreshes lines, density and colour and preserves the fine hair pattern for longer.

After Microblading, please don't scratch or rub. Cleanse gently and avoid sun, sweating and sauna for the first few days. I'll give you clear aftercare instructions so that the delicate strokes heal cleanly and the result stays natural for as long as possible.

Aftercare is crucial after the treatment.
I recommend: no water, no sauna and no sport for at least seven days. Why? The skin needs time to regenerate and set the colour pigments. If you follow my aftercare instructions, the result stays even and crisp. I hear this question – "How long should I avoid water after Microblading?" – almost every day, and it shows how important aftercare is.

Prices vary depending on region, style and quality. In my studio in Ettlingen, the price for a complete treatment – including consultation, measuring and touch-up – is fair and transparent, reflecting my experience and your result.

I don't work with "bargain offers" but with precision, hygiene and perfection. Because real beauty deserves quality.

I work with a gentle numbing agent – most clients only feel a slight tingling.

Yes, with special methods. As a rule, however, it fades evenly.

If you have skin conditions, severe eczema (atopic dermatitis) or are pregnant, you should wait.

As with any cosmetic treatment, there are a few things you should know about Microblading. The most common disadvantages of Microblading are mostly temporary and easy to avoid if you follow the aftercare instructions. Directly after the treatment there may be slight redness or swelling – this is normal and usually subsides after one or two days.

In rare cases allergies to pigments can occur, which is why I carry out a skin analysis beforehand.

The result also fades over time, so a refresh is needed after about a year. Another possible disadvantage: on very oily skin the pigment can fade somewhat faster.

But if you pay attention to hygiene, aftercare and quality, you'll hardly notice these small disadvantages of Microblading – and you'll enjoy lastingly beautiful, natural eyebrows.

Microblading vs. Powder Brows

The difference between Microblading and Powder Brows lies in the technique and the result. With Microblading, fine hairs are drawn into the skin by hand with a blade – ideal if you want a natural, hair-like look. The brows look very real and soft.

Powder Brows, on the other hand, are pigmented with a machine. The colour is softly shaded, creating a powdery, make-up-like effect. This method is perfect if you like to feel a little made up in the morning – groomed, but not overdone.

Many of my clients combine both: Microblading hair strokes plus the soft shading of Powder Brows – this is called Combo Brows. This gives you the natural look of Microblading with the fullness and longevity of the powder technique.

Microblading experiences in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe

Microblading is generally a safe treatment when performed by a trained and experienced artist.
I work exclusively with hygienic single-use tools and high-quality pigments developed specifically for the skin. I have also completed several highly qualified trainings and have had the privilege of working with some of Europe's best artists.

Directly after the treatment the eyebrows look somewhat darker and more intense.
This is completely normal and part of the healing process.
After about 7–10 days the brows look much more natural and softer. Then, after approx. 4–6 weeks, at the 2nd session we look at where we need to add strokes to fully perfect the already good result.

The first healing phase takes about 7–10 days.
The colour fully stabilises within 4–6 weeks.

As a rule, Microblading lasts 1 to 2 years.
Many clients opt for a refresh after about 12–18 months.

Microblading works best on dry to normal skin.
For very oily skin, Powder Brows may be the better choice.

Yes, many clients choose a combination of Microblading and Powder Brows to achieve both natural hairs and more fullness. I call this method "Combo Brows". It combines the advantages of both methods. Combo Brows cost €550 including the second session
